This week has been one that if you told me years ago would ever be in my cards, I would’ve thought it seemed far too good to be true. Although I recognize that not all of my weeks will always be at such a high, every single day this week started and ended with a complete and utter sense of fulfillment, pride, amour propre and genuine happiness. A feeling my younger self never knew was possible. I’ve been “happy” in the past… but I never knew happiness could ever reach the overwhelming levels I’ve experienced this week.
It’s taken not only myself but an army to get me here. And I appreciate and thank every single last person I’ve encountered throughout the way- and those I have yet to meet. For each has uniquely inspired me and left me with either good or bad, yet both turning into a blessing of a lesson.
With that being said (and a latter to my previous article),
Where there is will, there is a way. Where there is love, there is light. It’s a journey, not a race. It’s to see the glass half full, not half empty. It’s to be spontaneous, to seek adventure, to step into and explore the unknown. It’s to believe wholeheartedly that you can create and have all of which you desire. To recognize the innate power you have within yourself that has been anxiously waiting to be unleashed. To navigate through the depths of your inner world- the good, the bad, the beautiful and the ugly. To learn and expand upon creating a more peaceful and blissful internal so that your external can reflect accordingly. It’s to truly find and listen to the voice and feelings within for they are an extraordinary built- in compass that will never bring you down a path nor to a place at which you do not belong. It’s a humbling journey, meant to check your ego. It removes any judgements, to bring you into a place of acceptance and appreciation. To always move with love and light, with compassion and optimism. It’s to bring you justice for those that have wronged you- or face repercussions and to right your wrongs. It’s to learn how to prioritize yourself, your dreams and aspirations. To build a solid bedrock for the empire you wish to create. To seek out and take risks on not only your being but your life. To drop the traditional and go against the grain. It’s to recognize your doubts and fears in hopes of bringing awareness to the holds they place on your life, in order to break free from the needless shackles they bound you to. To be courageous enough to persevere though the uphill strenuous battles. To remain willful in times of trouble, times of dark, and times when it may feel too arduous with no end or light in sight. It’s to go inward to seek the necessary truths that are required to build you back up again. It’s to learn patience, how to be present, and detach yourself from the outcomes. To understand the importance of closing many doors for there are an infinite amount getting ready to open. To get back up on your throne, faithfully and assured. It’s to bring you back into union with yourself. Your true self…
It’s a heavy odyssey. One that will break you down and strip you bare, yet build you back up again more whole than you could’ve ever imagined. The beginning stages will most likely look nearly entirely dark. It will look decieving, and feel almost punishing at times. Yet after pushing through and coming out of the other side of each battle, you will accumulate a new piece of light and one less of dark. As you reach the middle you will see the ratio come into a more harmonious balance as you move forward with just a bit more than from where you commenced. Until alas, you will see the scale that once tipped entirely into the abyss of darkness, fog and confusion, will now tip entirely towards the other end of the spectrum. The end towards love, light, peace, bliss, harmony, faith, optimism, abundance + any and all other synonyms you’d like to slap on. Because let’s face it, at the end of the day this journey truly revolves entirely around love. Love and appreciation for oneself, those around them, and the things we have in our lives. It’s about learning how to allow your heart be naked, raw and vulnerable. To allow yourself to give and recieve more openly. Love that is authentic and genuine. One that does not come from a place of want, need, impatience, anger, contract nor exchange. It’s an unconditional love from a place of confidence, strength and acceptance. You will learn that in the end, we don’t necessarily give love. We experience and feel love. And I think that experience is something remarkable.
This journey is not easy, and quite honestly it looks and feels like a burning tower. But I think it’s the most beautiful, most rewarding and most fulfilling mess and inner turmoil I’ve ever had to go through.
Remember where there is will, there will always be a way. Light will forever and always follow the dark. Expect the unexpected for the end will bring you more than you ever expected and more than you ever thought was possible. Keep on keeping on. There is so much love and light waiting for you just around the corner.
xx,
Jack
